Henosis Case Study
Background:
Our client was looking to close a $30M gap in SG&A expenses and sought a quick, innovative way to unlock significant cross-functional value by conducting a series of large-group, dialogue-based workshops across the enterprise (all functional areas of the business).
Henosis Approach:
The Henosis team designed a series of repeatable, process-based workshops leveraging the World Café large-group facilitation method. The workshop was structured to create a shared understanding of current day process issues, leading teams to later establish common intention of what to do to improve operations, concluding with shared (aligned) actions post-workshop. Overall, the Henosis team facilitated 15 workshops involving over 300+ participants to ideate, listen, challenge, and innovate the new.
Results:
Over 50 cross-functional high-impact, high-urgency initiatives were identified by the participating teams to help the company achieve its strategic objectives / in-year priorities. Total estimated SG&A impact (of all initiatives) exceeded $10M with potential to realize upwards of $20M impact.
Benefits:
Rapid identification of highly impactful initiatives to close a significant SG&A gap
Shared understandings, intentions, and actions of staff to resolve long-standing, intractable process issues
Improved staff relations within and across key process areas in the company
Repeatable, scalable process to resolve and improve cross-functional communications, collaboration, and problem solving (on an anytime basis)
