Henosis Case Study
Background:
Our client was looking to grow their company without adding headcount – a very common ask in today’s world. Specifically, they were looking to “lean out” their operations to create significant capacity lift of staff while concurrently establishing a culture of faster, Agile-based execution to create a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Henosis Approach:
The Henosis team helped ‘stand-up’ an enterprise-wide Lean capability by establishing an Agile/Lean Center of Excellence in addition to developing and delivering Lean/Agile training across multiple departments and units. Lastly, we helped create the conditions for operational excellence by helping modify several supporting structures (i.e., rewards & measures, performance management schemes, competency models, etc.) to ensure a continuous improvement mindset was embedded into the company’s DNA.
Results:
Through implementing a portfolio of Lean initiatives and executing them in an Agile way, our client was able to realize $MM hard/soft dollar impact through capacity improvement (of staff), productivity improvement, process automation, and through centralization of resources. Further, by introducing several supporting structural changes the client was enabled to realize future gains by embedding a continuous improvement mindset of their staff.
Benefits:
Sustainable Agile/Lean capability (of staff)
Bottom-line EBITDA impact
Cultural change to execute work in an Agile way
Significant capacity lift generated to enable the company to grow without adding headcount
