Henosis Case Study

Strategy-to-Execution Design

Background:

Our client was looking to reorganize their entire Procurement organization (300+ people) beginning with defining a future state vision and strategic plan followed by executing the plan by embedding new standards, new processes, new performance metrics, and a Procurement Center of Excellence sub-group to drive ongoing continuous improvement.

 Henosis Approach:

The Henosis team began with helping the Procurement organization develop a new vision for itself.  Then, with vision developed we helped facilitate articulating a Strategy Map to bring their vision to life.  Lastly, we facilitated creating a series of cascaded Balanced Scorecards to drive strategy execution and a new discipline of conducting rigorous, fact-based monthly strategic review sessions.

 Results:

Client established a ‘true north’ that they could proudly communicate and cascade throughout the entire organization (Procurement function and the broader entity) to ensure organizational alignment, strategic fitness, and all staff “rowing in the same direction.”

 Benefits:

  • Organizational alignment and team focus

  • Optimized resources with role/responsibility clarity

  • Clear and compelling operational plan to achieve vision & strategic goals

  • Capability to effectively document and communicate strategy to all staff to ensure organizational-wide awareness and alignment
